Now Hiring: Yard Worker & Warehouse (8/1/2026)

Job description:

Pohaki is a fourth-generation, family-owned home improvement and appliance retailer, and we’re growing.

We’re looking for a reliable, hardworking Yard & Warehouse Associate to join our small team.

This is a hands-on role with plenty of on-the-job variety.

What You’ll Do:

• Load, unload, and move materials in the yard and warehouse
• Operate a forklift to move inventory
• Operate saws to cut materials to size for customer orders
• Receive vendor deliveries and verify shipments against purchase orders and internal records
• Check inventory into the computer system
• Drive a company pickup truck for small local deliveries
• Assist with appliance deliveries and installations in customer homes as needed
• Help keep the yard organized and safe
• Assist customers and contractors picking up orders

What We’re Looking For:

• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
• Comfortable learning to operate a forklift (we’ll certify you, no experience required)
• Able to lift and move heavy materials
• Comfortable with basic computer data entry
• Detail oriented
• Full time, including a rotating Saturday schedule
• Reliable, on time, and ready to work outside in all seasons
• Experience not required, on the job training available
• Willingness to learn our systems and processes
